Enough Duffy

I hope you can spread the word to as many unaware voters as possible about the absolute false implications of a mailer received on Friday.

The mailer featured Duffy claiming to be the great savior from buildings like the Vue apartments around the bay and loss of marine facilities.  I am appalled that he would have the gall to give himself that credit.

 

The truth is that Duffy has sat silently for 4 years on the City Council and prior years on the Harbor Commission while his buddies  and cohorts, especially Scott Peotter as a Planning Commissioner, gave approval to the building of the Vue and the loss of boating repair facilities.

In other words, Duffy has done nothing!!  And by his silence, given approval to such goings on.  He will continue to do nothing if for no other reason than he has to recuse himself from voting on harbor matters.  Why would anyone allow him another term on the Council?

We have a chance to elect someone with tried and true involvement in the City, who can vote on harbor matters, and who cares deeply that we update our General Plan before more mistakes are made.

We need to elect Tim Stoaks for District 3 and this latest Duffy mailer makes me all the more sure of our choice.”
